Christmas Tool Set for Noah

Noah has a lot of work to do around the house! He got a tool set for Christmas complete with a hard hat and tool belt. He loves it! It's so cute to hear him say "pliers" and "drill." It's really great for fine motor skills. He works really hard at using the screwdriver to put a screw in. Absolutely adorable!

First Time to Ride Splash Mountain
The last few times we've been to Disneyland, Noah cries because he wants to go on Splash Mountain with Ryan. I take him to the entry of Splash Mountain to show him how tall he has to be to go on the ride. This last December, we took him to the height indicator and he is taller than it! So he got to ride!
He was very excited. He liked seeing all the animals and hearing the songs. "The big hill," as he calls it, was a little scary to him but he didn't cry. He did not like the wave of water splashing over us at the end because it was so cold. However, when it was time to get off, Noah said, "Let's do that again!"
So we did. :0)
The picture above is going down "the big hill" on our second ride. If you look very closely at the top of the picture, Noah is next to me. You can just barely see his gray hood! He's so little and so brave!

A New Painter
Tonight I painted Noah's hand to look like a turkey and pressed it down on a paper to give to some family members for Thanksgiving. Then I let him loose painting! He loved it! I didn't have enough paintbrushes so we used Q-Tips instead. He made 3 paintings! I love how he describes what he's making. He said he was going to make Sea World. We haven't been to Sea World since he was 22 months old. I don't know how he remembers it so well. One of his pictures was a dolphin making a splash. He's so smart!
