A New Painter

Creating masterpieces!

Tonight I painted Noah's hand to look like a turkey and pressed it down on a paper to give to some family members for Thanksgiving. Then I let him loose painting! He loved it! I didn't have enough paintbrushes so we used Q-Tips instead. He made 3 paintings! I love how he describes what he's making. He said he was going to make Sea World. We haven't been to Sea World since he was 22 months old. I don't know how he remembers it so well. One of his pictures was a dolphin making a splash. He's so smart!

Noah Cleaned His Room!

While I was folding laundry, Noah surprised me! He cleaned his room all by himself without me asking! :)

He came into my bedroom and said, "Mama. I have a surprise for you!"

He took me to his room and held out his arms. I was so surprised! I thought he was playing with his toys. What a wonderful boy! :)

Noah's Own Trip

My precious Noah "going on a trip"

Noah LOVES trips! His suitcase stays out all the time because for him, it's a necessity. He's always packing for a "trip."

Today he balanced it just right on his "motorcycle" and told me, "Bye, Mama! I'm going on a trip. See you later."

He's hilarious! And when we actually are on a trip, he HAS to be the one to pull his suitcase (even if we have a bellhop!)

Halloween 2010

The only thing getting dressed up here are the cookies! Noah absolutely refused to put on his costume!! That totally cracks me up because we spent quite a bit of time looking for a costume he loved. He finally picked out the dinosaur from Toy Story. He did wear it to the Fall Festival at my school. After a while, he didn't like wearing the head/hat part though.

His favorite part of the evening was answering the door for the trick or treaters. He and Daddy would race to the door. Noah would get handfuls of candy while Daddy opened the door. Then they would react to whoever was there. Noah loved passing out the candy! He had a very fun night!

Boo at the Zoo!

We had fun @ Boo at the Zoo!

Our family went to Boo at the Zoo last weekend! It was fun to see the animals eat/smash/attack the pumpkins. Noah's favorite part was when the elephants smashed the pumpkins and ate all of it! We had a great time!

Fall Festival

I took Noah to our Fall Festival at school tonight. At first, he didn't want to go (because he was sleepy) until I mentioned the games and CANDY! Then, he decided he wanted to go right away!

When we arrived, he took off for the building. Then he saw all the people and decided he'd better wait for Mama. He ran to all the games in the cafeteria like he owns the place. He would give the tickets to the person hosting the booth, play the game, then hunt for the candy he wanted! The host would say something like, "Two candies." Noah would try to get 2 and then one more! They all would think he was so cute, so they'd let him! Then he decided he could protest if they gave him candy he didn't like. One poor girl gave him 4 different candies before he found one he liked! He's a mess!

His costume is the T-Rex from Toy Story but he wouldn't wear the dinosaur head once we got there! All my students would ask me, "What's Noah supposed to be?" He didn't care. He was NOT wearing that hat! Next year, I am NOT buying any costume that has to have a hat! Live and learn, right?

We had a great time! My students all love seeing Noah at school.

I forgot to add that Noah was done after about 30 minutes. Then he wanted to go to my room! He wanted to go paint and play blocks, etc... :) It was closed off, so we couldn't. Good thing he had a consolation prize: a lollipop! LOL

Trip Sponsors Needed

We washed Noah's car seat last night. (It really needed it!) So this morning, we're putting the cover back on, etc...and Noah just KNOWS that since we're washing the car seat AND that it's out of the car, we MUST be going on a trip! He is insisting on packing his suitcase and he keeps wanting to know what trip we're going on and what hotel we're going to!

We'll have to plan something soon!!!
