While I was in the shower, Noah wrote his name all by himself!! Look for the N and go counter-clockwise! So proud!!! =D

Noah's Lincoln Logs from Ryan

Noah got some Lincoln Logs for Christmas. He wanted to put together the house that he sees on the box with his daddy this morning. He came into the kitchen holding the directions while studying them intently. He was pointing to the pictures and showing us what we needed to do. It was so cute!

Then we went into his room to build the winter lodge. He was so adorable consulting the directions as we put it together. Of course, it did take a few minutes to put together and he'd rather knock it all down than build the lodge! So when we finally got it put together, I took a quick picture of it. Then he proceeded to knock it down. He definitely likes Lincoln Logs, though! He didn't want to put them away later...but we did. :)

Snow Day!

Noah and I were playing with his GeoTrax Train when he shouted, "Snow!" I turned around and larger-than-life snowflakes were falling! I told him to go get his coat and boots while I got my camera. I quickly went outside to video the snowflakes falling (you never know how long they will last in El Paso!). He got upset because he thought I was going outside without him!
I helped him get dressed for outside and the first thing he did was to tilt his face toward the sky and try to catch a snowflake in his mouth! I taught him how to make snowballs and snowangels. Then we made a little Texas-sized snowman together. It's small because we didn't have much snow to work with and that was about all he had the patience for.
24 hours later our snowman has shrunk a little, but is still standing. What a beautiful way to end 2010.

Christmas Tool Set for Noah

Noah has a lot of work to do around the house! He got a tool set for Christmas complete with a hard hat and tool belt. He loves it! It's so cute to hear him say "pliers" and "drill." It's really great for fine motor skills. He works really hard at using the screwdriver to put a screw in. Absolutely adorable!
